Integrated Transaction Statistics Reporting (ITSR) is Bank Negara Malaysia’s enhanced regulatory reporting framework introduced in 2025 to improve the granularity, consistency, and timeliness of industry reporting for insurers and takaful operators. ITSR supports stronger regulatory oversight, improved industry analytics, and alignment with MFRS 17 requirements, replacing the legacy ICSS/TOSS/ROSS reporting framework previously used under MFRS 4.
As insurers and takaful operators transition to ITSR, many finance, actuarial, and reporting teams face increasing challenges around data mapping, reconciliation, governance, validation, and tight submission timelines.
