ISAHD PARTICIPATING INSURER (PI) STATUS

The Dubai Health Authority introduced the Insurance System for Advancing Healthcare in Dubai (ISAHD) under the Health Insurance Law of Dubai No. 11 of 2013 to enhance healthcare accessibility and quality. As part of the framework, insurers seeking Participating Insurer (PI) status are required to obtain an actuarial certificate demonstrating the adequacy of their pricing and product design in relation to the Essential Benefits Plan (EBP).
