Q3 saw five Class B(i) and six Class B(iii) licences granted. Combined with H1, Cayman reached 32 new international insurance licensees in 2025. CIMA notes 19 applications under review and five approved in principle. Total licensed Class B/C/D companies now number approximately 719, with about USD 51 billion in premiums and USD 173 billion in assets.
